Studio

Privacy Policy

Effective November 4, 2026

Studio is a private production workspace. Its operator uses YouTube API Services to research public videos, prepare releases and understand the performance of channels they manage. This policy covers the public information pages and the private workspace.

What Studio accesses and why

  • Channel connection. When you authorize a channel through Google, Studio reads its ID and title to match it to the channel you chose. It records granted permissions and stores an encrypted refresh token on the server so scheduled work can run while you are away.
  • Channel analytics. Studio reads upload and playlist information, including video IDs, titles, publication times and visibility. It collects aggregate metrics such as views, watch time, retention, engagement, impressions and click-through rates when available. These records support performance charts, research reports and decisions about future videos.
  • Publishing. For an approved release, Studio sends the video file, title, description and selected metadata to YouTube. The release can also include a thumbnail, captions, playlist placement, a release schedule or a comment supplied by the operator.
  • Public research. Studio collects public channel and video information such as titles, descriptions, dates, view counts, thumbnails and selected public comments. It stores observations and uses them to compare videos and prepare topic studies.

Storage and processing

The Studio server, its database and its cloud file storage hold channel connections, metrics, production files and research reports. Studio keeps dated observations for comparing performance over time. Its cleanup job removes dated raw research exports older than 30 days. Reports, historical measurements and backups are separate from those exports.

Google processes authorization, API requests and files sent for upload. The operator’s cloud hosting and storage providers process data to run and back up Studio. Authorized Claude sessions can process channel metrics, project materials and research to produce edits, studies and summaries. If notifications are enabled, the configured notification provider, such as Discord, may receive findings, project titles and links for delivery to the operator.

Cookies and visits

The private workspace uses cookies to keep the operator signed in and to match the start and finish of a Google authorization. When you visit these public pages, the hosting provider receives ordinary web request information such as your IP address, browser information and the path requested.

Revoking access and deleting data

You can stop future authorized requests by removing Studio from your Google Account permissions. To request deletion of stored channel data or reports, email stephen@getbluma.com with the channel URL and the records you want removed. The operator may ask you to verify control of the channel. You can manage videos already uploaded through YouTube Studio.
